That is a quick way that wont affect the ride, there are a few on here and other forums that have a BL, on a 4th gen,

A body lift is what you are looking for.Far more simple, and less expensive than a suspension lift.Check out performance accessories..........

Hey BULLRAM, been a while since Ive been on here.

He can tell you, I love my PA body lift. Accomplished exactly what I wanted. Low cost, no warranty issues, 35" tires, and the ride with the larger tires is better then stock.

I've had seven full size, 4x4 trucks in my life and five have been lifted in some fashion. Even though I've got a 4" suspension lift on my 3rd Gen, I've had three trucks with body lifts. I basically did the suspension lift this time because when I did it I was just about to turn 40, I've had back surgery, knee surgeries and shoulder surgery and at this point in my life I wanted to not be bounced around the cab quite so much off-road.

Although it will ride a little harsher off-road and will have a slightly higher center of gravity, there is nothing wrong with going to a body lift or body lift/level combination...
