As it ages and things don't seal so good, it will catch up with ya later.

Your 09 shouldn't get dirty enough to need engine cleaner unless you have a leak somewhere. My 08 gets dusty, but never dirty enough to warrant using a cleaner on it. A light water rinse does the job and I do not spray around the coil bottoms.
When the water shorts the spark in the pocket, it usually fries the coil pack because there is no plug wire to absorb the spike.
