flowmaster
a 'slowmaster' chambered muffler versus a magnaflow free flow muffler... you asked what I think..
other members reported problems installing mufflex but an siso retro mufflex is a 20 minute install in your driveway. I have had one for two years now with no leaks, perfect fit and 30 minute max install for a sido. I did cut an extra slit opposite the one it came with on the inlet and outlets so you do not have to crank the clamps so tight. Just used a jig saw. And Mufflex is in NJ so I got mine in about 2-3 days from ordering. Did the 14" and at first did not like it so loud, I would have been ok with the 18" but used to it now.

I agree. Flowmaster is highly over rated. They do sound good, but only last a few years at best on a daily driver and are just as restrictive as a stock muffler is not more so in most cases.
You could always get a local shop to custom bend you some tailpipes. I prefer the out the back look myself. It also keeps the tips farther away from the crap being thrown up by the tires.
I like them out the back to but I have a trx4 they didn't offer it that way and I like it better with the bumper cut outs. Or out the corners. Local shops around here suck there quality is lacking been there done it before no pleased.
I know what you mean. I had an exhaust guy that did great work, but he has died and I really don't trust anybody in my area anymore either. I like the Magnaflow stuff because it is all stainless and has a lifetime warranty.
