Default Cat back exhaust on a 2011 hemi

Is it possible to put a cat back exhaust on a 2011 hemi with the mds system from the H pipe back? If so will it bother the mds or warranty? and does it hurt mileage? And what would it sound like if i did it and the mds kicks on ive heard it sounds bad? Thanks guys!

These trucks do not have an H pipe. But you can add a catback and have no problems with the mds system. Go to youtube and do some searching....there are quite a few videos over there of different cutbacks on these trucks.

no CEL but I think in MDS mode it sounds like $hit with anything but the stock muffler. But I can only compare it with stock and a 14" magnaflow. Kinda like a diesel using a jake brake..

Sounds kinda like a Jake brake on a semi when it is on. Sounds pretty crappy around town. Not so bad on the highway. You can always either drive in tow/haul mode around town, which will disable the MDS or get a tuner like the Predator or SC and turn it off.

The exhaust won't void any warranty except on the exhaust parts that you remove. It's the law unless a part fails as a direct result of the installed part. Example, your new cat-back were to melt a brake hose or something that it was touching.

Don't expect any mileage increase either. When in MDS the tone dosen't bother me one bit. I have a Magnaflow 21inch ? no reasonators.
