Just wanted to make sure you heard me. You would think that APPLE would have been able to get things straight after the last several issues that they have had and was recently fixed by Uconnect. They need to figure out how to take the SW back to whaat did work when an update sucks.

HAHAHA, wooo, hooo,
Dude, If you haven't noticed, I have been here trying to help people with the issues that their dealers can't. I am trying to let them know that if they want to keep their system working not to do this update. This is a new issue with a new update.
Let me also remind you that the Androids also have created issues for their device users. Even though the Android is nice, it is not above issues either. I am currently working with HTC and Samsung on issues that have come from their updates. So just because your phone works now don't think that you are above not having future issues.

I have an HTC Desire and was told by HTC that it cannot be updated to 2.3 for some reason so whoever updated theirs back a few posts well maybe you should try to get your phone reversed.

well, that's interesting news and here's some reading material for while on the throne:

http://www.redmondpie.com/download-a...w-to-tutorial/

http://enbeeone3.com/update-htc-desi...3-gingerbread/

And as we know, once you have updated, the only way to go backwards is to find a new phone with the SW in it that worked before the update. HTC may be coming out with an Android 2.3.4 because of current issues with battery drain and a few others with the 2.3.3.

Well that was a good read here was my favorite quote
"Android 2.3.x Gingerbread on the HTC Desire isn’t a significant update either, as the differences are mostly under the hood. If you’re happy with Android 2.2 “Froyo”, we suggest sticking to that."
There is a version that is based on the 2.3.4 version there. I don't think I am going to bother to update until the next radio update comes if there will be one been a while.

Can the Uconnect be added to a 2009 Ram 2500 Laramie?

I installed a new uconect module , so it has the newest updates I assume.
I have RES 130.
Not a touch radio, the hands free phone and texting work great.
But no audio streaming .
I was told that all 2010 radios touch or not do not stream audio.
Does anyone know about this?

That is correct, they do not provide streaming via BT. You need to connect via Aux-In for music from your phone. But you can get a BT iPhone connector like the CoolStream Duo which basically provides the same type of functionality. Hook the CoolStream device to the iPhone cable in your glove box and then connect your phone to the CoolStream over BT and choose 'Aux-In' on the radio. Then stream away. This is all true with the non-NAV touchscreen radio (RBZ?). Not sure about your radio's features.
