Thanks for the numbers.

The reason I ask is because I took my truck into the dealer for a ticking noise, and they said my studs are fine. I told them about the exhaust bolts and asked them how they tested them to make sure they were good. They told me they hook up a machine to the exhaust which blows smoke up the tail pipe. Then you can see anywhere you have leaks. They said there was no leaks around the exhaust manifolds. The only leaks I had where around my magnaflow muffler around the exhaust clamps.

I have a CPO warranty on my truck so this would be covered. If I want this RRT done to my truck no matter what can I force them to do it? I want it done regardless because I don't want to take the chance of one of these breaking off after my CPO warranty is up. If I do the work myself and a bolt breaks off that would **** me off.

Thanks

Thanks everyone for the input. I looked in my warentee book and it is covered. Called Dodge and they also said it was covered. Went to the Stealer and showed them the book and they said that the manufactorer must have changed the warentee. Now i just have to wait for my check the be cut. Funny how they want your money right away but when they owe you money it takes a couple of days

When it was and original RRT they had a major part shortage, I had 2 at the dealership in my name waiting for the other 2, then one more came and just so happened it was in for the axle seal and the fourth came in that day. Mine were not loose yet so no warping, I am not so sure they needed changing but was free so I let them do it. There were a substantial amount of RRT's, Recalls and TSB's on my 09 but they were taken care of no problem in fact overboard sometimes, surprised that thiings were covered at times. Like a running board that fell off, I just thought it was overweight friends of my wifes hopped on it the same time and it hit the ground. Wasn't even gonna show the dealer since nothing was wrong that I knew. Good thing it was an improper install but they put new ones on, nothing wrong with the old ones except improper install of the rivnuts before installing the brackets. Even my wifes Avenger, the seat was wearing as if something had been rubbing on it, turned out was velcro from my kids shorts they put a new cover on the bottom. We did not realize that what it was or I would have paid for it or made the kid pay teach him a lesson on care of your car.LOL So far so good, just one small issue in the beginning but when I went back to my local dealer they were happy to have me even though I did not buy it there.
