Default Aircon Vapour

Hi I was alarmed to see a large amount of vapour appear from between the steering column.

I noticed that it was without scent so that ruled out smoke, I tested to see what it was. I eventually found that it was because I kept turning the aircon off and on every 5 mins or so.

Does anyone think this could be a problem?

There should be no vapor coming from anywhere. You may have a freon leak in the evaporator in the dash and this could cause a fog to come from the vents.

Moisture. water on evaporator coils and such. If it was freon your ac would not be working. Depends on humidity and such. Why were you turning ac on and off every few minutes? Thatt can't be good for the ac system.

Only gonna get a fog if it's freezing up or leaking.

The OP kept turing the ac on and off every few minutes. He created the fog.

I know it wasn't good for the unit and haven't done it before, I'd done it around 6 times, it was because we'd just had a storm and it was too cold for Aircon on but too hot to put the blower on the screen so it was aircon on for 5 off for 5, I won't be doing it again let me tell you.

You know that temp dial adjusts - right? You can run defrost on any heat/cool setting you like.
