Default Programming factory alarm without RKE key fob

Just made the upgrade from a 2006 1500 Sport to a 2011 1500 SXT (I don't need many options and the price was hard to beat). Since I was moving over my Viper remote starter/alarm I figured why pay for the factory alarm again.
The install went well and everything works but because I have no factory key fob (RKE) I can't figure out if it's possible to disable the factory horn chirp when arming/disarming (since the Viper alarm has it's own horn and it's a little annoying that they both chirp).
Anyone know if it's possible to disable the factory horn chirps without a factory key fob?

Thanks in advance!

Do you have the EVIC in yours? I know in my sport I have an option to disable the horn chirps as well as the visuals on unlock and lock. However I do have the factory system, so maybe thats why the options are there. I would check there first IF you have it that is. If you don't then I know bullydogs tuner will disable them. Again you probably don't have that.

Off the top of my head I don't think there is any other way. You might have to take it to the dealership...

No EVIC

Although I did find a workaround... through the programming of the Viper I managed to disable it's own chirp for arm/disarm. Now only the factory horn goes off which is fine. Under full alarm though the Viper alarm goes off.

Haha! Good call!
I did get it all Zaino'd last weekend so I will take some good ones soon... although it's still at 0% in the build progress
