can you press the VR button and say "transfer call"? What does Uconnect say when you try this?

 

thanks for the help. the first post you responded to was from another person. mine does not work at all, in park or out.
when i attempt to make a call and press the VR button then say transfer call, the response is "transferred call to uconnect".
no bluetooth volume over the stereo though. it appears that it does not make any difference after trying to transfer.
i do not have the option to transfer call on the iphone screen as i did before the update.

 

I apologize if I missed this, what phone do you have? Did you try to reset the phone by holding the power button on top while pressing the round "wake" button on the face of the phone until the Apple appears, then release the buttons. I have seen these phones act weird and perform this reset and the phone works correctly. (It's worth the try and it won't damage anything)

No luck deleting phone from uconnect
No luck deleting uconnect from phone
No luck doing both together

 

ok, I got 1 more thing to try, press the uconnect button and say "setup, reset" you should be asked if you're sure you want to reset the Uconnect, say "yes". You will then be told that this will remove all phone pairing etc and asked if you want to proceed, say "yes". Then remove Uconnect from the devices list. Start a new pairing of the phone & uconnect. let me know if this helps.

 

i noticed today that my iphone had gotten a new update (it rearranged my apps a little). as soon as i got in my truck at lunch someone called and it went straight to bluetooth! all functions are back to normal.
thanks for all the suggestions, as it turns out i just needed a little patience.

 

Was this an over the air update? Can you look in the settings menu, about phone, is the version still 5.0? (9A334) Thanks for the information.

 

yes, it was an update via icloud/wifi but it still shows 9A334 as the software package.

Well, out of curiosity about this update, I emailed an Apple contact that I have and asked about this update.. He says that there hasn't been an update made yet for the iOS 5.0. There is a beta update that is being tested by developers only. This is an update (5.0.1) for the battery life glitches. He's thinking that your update may not have been complete and some how was completed thru WI-fi (?).
I know it doesn't matter because it's working but I thought I would mention that there wasn't an update. (yet) He also said that updates changes the SW version # (9A334...).

 

that makes sense, i was still seeing a blue bar on the bottom of the newsstand app after i updated via computer; then a week later the app goes clean and my bluetooth works.
