Just because they look the same does not mean they are. So unless someone has seen them out of a truck or has part numbers I would say no one is qualified to answer

I called the dealership and gave him my vin and he said the part number was different than the 09-11s.

Best off calling the manuafacturer of the lights you want to use and see if they have tried them on a 2012. New part number could mean anything from a simple change that doesn't effect compatability to a completly different mount.
