Default some advice for a new ram owner

I have a 09 ram 1500 4x4 sport w/5.7L. I was wanting to do some exhaust work and trying to find a good programer. Any suggestions? If you have any other advice for a ram noob i would greatly appreciate it.

Haha very true! Some people hate it, but when that a-hole taps you at the stop light b/c they are sending a text message/checking facebook

I am currently running the SuperChips tuner w/ the 93 Octane tune and I personally love it... When it comes to other brands it comes down to personal preference really...

But the Trinity has all those bells and whistles and you can track whats going on with your truck live so why do people not prefer this?
Also how do you get the neat pics of your truck down on the bottom of your posts

I went w/ super chips b/c I read tons of post on multiple forums and from what I read people had better experiences w/ SC...really it's personal preference...then when I called both companies before buying to ask a few questions SC customer service answered all my questions, and Diablo referred my to there site to get info to my questions...

that helped make my decision right there. But that's me, treat me like scum and I'll purchase elsewhere...

save your money on an intake. Some guys claim they work, but for the 3-400 bucks that you pay for its not worth it IMO. Better of to build your own, these intakes on these trucks are already pretty efficient, if you put a K&N air high flow filter, your going to be doing as good as having an intake. If you want the sound out of it or have the money then go for it. BUT IMO that money could be put torwards a lot better things..

I have the bullydog tuner. I love it! its almost like a trinity, but I do feel a performance gain (at least on my 07 hemi!) The problem is they don't have a tune for the 2011s as of yet. But if you willing to wait and give her a try buy all means. Nice thing about the bullydog is it gives you access to some things that are only available in star scan. Like having your fogs on with high beams, turning off drls, seat belt minders. Just that little extra stuff..

Couldn't agree w/ Nate anymore....I just took off my K&N 63 Series CAI and sold it...Noticed nothing in MPG gain, when doing hand calc I noticed a 1 MPG decrease (The bashing is going to start b/c I'm knocking the intake systems, but this is my experience) I never dyno'd the truck but K&N claims something like 12HP, well to be honest you won't feel 12HP...the nicest thing about it I guess you can say was the little extra growl under the hood or when you opened the hood it did look sweet...but that's it.
