+2. IMO you should never even consider the fact of buying a 45k truck for this reason. You can buy an older vehicle that is built for it, not to mention put 30k into AFTERmarket parts that are expected and build to take that kind of abuse. Aftermarkets gonna be the way to go if you want quality...most of the time...

Also I agree with whoever said that dodge did the right thing to not cover there ram runners with warranty. Fords gonna have to replace all these trucks, cause i'm betting its pretty hard to bend that frame back to perfect. I have seen these trucks in action and those guys push it way past the limits. For ford to state everything is covered is just plain ridiculous IMO. Dodge saved themselves lots of trouble.

Frame is modular and can be replaced in 3 sections..the part that gets damaged costs about 1700. Ford probably will not repair the trucks.

this is true...but you pretty much have to pull everything out...its probably just as easy for them to throw them a new truck and NOT warranty that one...use that for parts for real warranty work...

It's no different than if I had actually attempted the RAM Challenges in my truck. Those commercials are total BS as well. Same as the Toyota that has an airplane land on it.... You cant claim warranty due to believing commercials...

This run is what bent the guys frame. I would think that we have stronger frames since ive hit much harder stuff than this in my old 06 ram and never had a problem.
I didnt know a furd could even got that fast.

I dont think there are many, if any truck manufacturers that honor a warrenty when its been raced. Blow your engine after doing some quarter mile runs and tell the service manager that. see what happens. Sure you can run a tricycle on the baja 1000, just dont go to fast and high with the jumps.
