Default Bed mat or Linex

I rarely use my truck bed for heavy duty use. Usually hauling luggage, groceries, dirt bikes.

Would you recommend going with a $100 bed mat or forking out $500 for linex?

I like the rubber Dodge bed mat in mine. Easier to clean up after hauling stuff and there doesn't seem to be anything you can do to damage it.

Get the spray in liner, and then put a heavy rubbermat on top - protection, and slip resistance and cushioning.

I'd agree. Get the Linex and the bed mat.

Here is a thought , don't to the liner , do the matt. when you get ready to trade or sell put the spray in liner then? I have had the spray in liner on other trucks, you can't slide boxes on it , and after a number if years they seem to fade ?

I'm thinking I might do a mat for now and see how it works. Then I can always do the linex down the road. Only concern I have is dirt and moisture build up underneath the mat causing rust. I live in the Seattle area, so its rain for 6 months.

Went ahead and ordered a Dee Zee from Real trucks for now. Will add linex with tax refund.

Do not get a drop in plastic liner. They are junk, and moisture and debris get underneath them. I would definitely do the Linex. My 2011 has a linex job and I can tell you that I love it. You don't have to worry about being too rough. Some people would say "It's a truck" and it is but that doesn't mean that you can't take care of it either. Spray in liners help with resale value as well.
