If you do, post pics! It looks so good plus it's easy.

I have some time at work today to do the original one I pulled off the truck, and I'm doing this one a little different, w/ sanding them w/ 220, then wet sanded smooth w/ 600 and 800, then I'm priming them w/ a two part primer (which I did not do last time)..then I will spray 4 coats like last time w/ 4 coats of clear coat. I also pulled the tailgate handle off and will post pics of that when that's completed.

Nice Job Mike, mine is starting to fade and I'll have to do the same soon. I changed out the diffs and transfer case on my truck using Valvoline SynPower Full Synthetic Gear Oil. It is so smooth and quite now.

On the subject of painting things has anyone tried that blackout headlamp paint? You know the stuff that just makes them seem black but light still shines through. I was thinking of doing this but im not to sure Ive seen some look good and some look like crap. But idk if the crap ones just used black paint but i do know they make a spray can of special paint just for this.

A lot of guys use "VHT Tinting Spray" I have never used this, but a lot of guys use this to tint there tails a little bit, not sure how it'd look on headlights w/ the heat output or anything...

So here are pics of the tailgate handle I painted...

I used a two part primer (this stuff is EXCELLENT!!!) buttttt.... I brushed it on w/ a foam brush to eliminate brush strokes, but it still didn't come out perfect, so if you prime your stuff I'd just use a basic spray paint primer. I'm not that worried about it since no one stares at my tailgate handle.

So I primed it then painted w/ 4 coats then 4 coats of clear...

This time I sanded w/ a 220 then started wet sanding w/ 600 and followed w/ 800...
