If you have the stock 3.92s now, IMO you're good. If you have the stock 3.55s or the 3.21s (I still fail to see why they even did this on some 4th Gens), then I'd go straight to 4.10s.

BUT re-gearing for the sole purpose of fuel economy is pretty much wasting money, you'll never make back what it costs in fuel savings - this is a performance mod that may have a slight MPG side benefit.

If you are looking for improved HP the scenario is simple: increase airflow... to do that you need CAI headers, cat back.

If you want to go further then you go for ported and polished intake, TB and heads.

If you do that your airflow values will be out of spec for your computer, so you will have to tune that. This also allows you to add more fuel and advance, which allows you to take advantage of higher octane fuel.

Once you want to go further than that, we are talking about cams or forced induction. Which will also require more tuning.

Pretty much fact...

I have a CAI, but also have a ported TB, Long Tube Headers, aftermarket "Y" and better flowing (and insanely loud) muffler. I'm pretty much at the end of what a "canned" tune will do for me. At some point I want a cam for better low end and at that point it'll be custom tune time...

Short of ordering a build sheet or cracking the pumpkin open is there another way i can check? Its a repo one owner but the dealer bought it from a bank so idk where it originally came from.

If you go to the Dodge website, click the "Contact Us" link at the top and send them an email with your VIN# and "Build Sheet Requested" in the subject line. They should send one to your inbox within a business day. I got mine just a few days ago.

I second that, spacers are for carbs.
