anyone know the location of the reverse gear wire and what color is it ?
need this info for my reverse camera ...

You can power your cam off the reverse lamps.

do a search on google or whatever you use for "dodge ram 1500 reverse camera installation guide", comes up as a Pdf file and it will give you all the info.

I used a mygig lock pick to hook mine up. Just plug it into the radio.

Also there should be a purple wire, on the center post of your 7 pin trailer connector. That gets power in reverse

I just installed a lock pic and wired to factory camera power wire is white with red tracer, had to cut and run wire to lock pic so it can be turned on anytime I'm moving
