Just bumping this in case anybody new to the site was unaware of this SIMPLE mod that works well and costs very little. The only tools you need is a utility knife and a Torx driver. The whole project start to finish takes about 25 minutes. Even less if you are not 6'5 and have smaller hands to work in the are it's located in. Geno's sells the kit as does an Ebay Mopar dealer.

 

I finally installed the cabin air filter in my 2013 Ram 1500 Big Horn. The filter fits fine but I could not get the (Caravan) door to snap in place. Has anyone had this problem? Actually, the filter fits real tight and the door is not needed.

The door was a bit difficult to get to snap into place for me. One side snapped fine. The other required an extra bit of pressure. You could simply use a piece of duct tape in place of the door. When you change out the filter just throw a new piece of duct tape on. Simple, cheap and will honestly seal better then the door anyhow. If i have any issues on my next filter swap that's what i'm doing.
