How much more left do i have left on brake pads
I'd change the pads and rotors out. You probably don't realize how much braking is lost when your pads start grooving into your rotors... Plus, your pads start to wear unevely and that puts uneven pressure against the rotor. Happens even with perfectly healthy calipers.
I'd say go with BrakeMotive Drilled/slotted and ceramic pads. They are only $225shipped for all 4 corners. That's Front and back and includes pads!! Local stores get you for that much on just one set of axles. Had their rotors and pads on 3 of my cars. Great product.

Just hit 87,000 miles on my 09. Ive towed heavy trailers 3 times with it and jon boats quite a bit. Still the original pads/rotors. Started to notice a bit of slower stopping power on my move to Colorado in January(with a trailer weighing about 6000 lbs) so I may be getting the brakes done in the next few months. Still, I'm very happy with the performance of this truck. It's been great.
My 2010 is still on original pads and rotors got about 74000 km and tow boat through out the summer months . Will have to monitor closely on next tire rotation but hoping it will last till late fall.

We'll I went to the dealer friday to get a quote, and as usually they had ridiculous prices. For the front and back rotors they wanted 190 roughly EACH, and pads were 110 and 98 for the front and back pairs. So total would of been like close to 1000$, are you kidding me haha pure robbery. The parts person actually told me to go to a auto parts store and get them much cheaper, and said that they are actually better. So i went and got the best they had for a total of 445 tax in, Wagner brakes.
But i will just hold on to them as i think i can still use my current brakes for quite a bit as they still have some meat, or until they are really due or warping. Even towing i got the electric brakes doing most of the work anyways. Nice to see all the different opinions though, that's what this site is all about.

I plan to get the Brakemotive rotors and pads. They have great pricing for these trucks. I checked one day after my oil change and Dodge wanted $316 just to turn my rotors. No pads or anything. Just turning. I laughed and walked out.
When it comes to doing brakes i have had people tell me to just install new pads, is this recommended or should the rotors be turned? For the price of new pads and turning rotors is it better to just install new rotors as well?
