Ok so I guess when I de-install the 2012 1500 Express stock mirrors and reinstall the mopar tow mirrors I just bought I should not expect the lights to work. Period.

Update, the truck was in for an oil change and had them try to enable the lights and no luck. The service guy and mechanic talked to me and said they tried to program it. I showed them the pics of before and after and they said the next step is to see if the door modules are the same part number as the ones that have that option. It didn't cost me anything, so no harm done. I will talk to the parts manager to see if the modules are compatible and feel that should've been checked first but as said they were cool about it and didn't charge. So overall, I still love the look and if it can be done for little to no money, I'll follow up with the Dealership.

Thanks for the update, same here after hrs of trying to figure it out it come down to switching the mudels in the door. They are confident that's what needs to be done in order for them to work.. I will too look into geting them done this summer.
