Limited slip?

Default Limited slip?
I have to change my rear diff fluid. I know there's a limited slip additive needed if you have an LSD, but how do I know if I have one or not. I know I have the 3.55's but I'm not sure if its limited slip or not.

If you have an '09 and 3.55s, you don't have a limited slip. A limited slip wasn't available on with 3.55s until later years.

The 3.55 is an open diff an doesn't require any additive. Use 75W-140 GL5 Full Synthetic Gear Lubricant and top it up to a little below the fill hole.

If anyone else is curious just mash the gas and see if you leave one black strip or two cool ones. Turn of esp first (partial off)
