Hey All,

First posting here. Just factory ordered new 2012 Outdoorsman 4X4 C/C with the Hemi.

Dealer only had a 4.7 Q/C in stock and I never thought to ask about the Hemi. Does the 2012 Outdoorsman (as described above) come with dual exhaust? The U.S. website says it does but I can't find the information on the Canadian site.

I'm in Canada but I'd like to hear from both U.S and Canadians and see if there's a difference.

The USA version doesn't come with duals. Not sure where you are seeing that it does?? You can verify by looking at the 2012 brochure. Didn't come with duals in previous years either.

 

Pretty sure they dont have that. Good thing you got the hemi though you won't regret it.

 

Get the build sheet from your dealer, that will tell you exactly what you bought. And when the truck arrives, go over the window sticker and check everything off on the sticker to make sure that everything is on the truck that the sticker says. Also check and compare the window sticker vin number against the trucks vin number. Call your dealer and tell them DO NOT remove ANY stickers from the truck until you`ve had time to look at it. Also look for paint issues while you`re looking the truck over BEFORE you sign anything...! Past experiences have taught me some valuable lessons in buying brand new vehicles. Dont let them sell you an extended warranty, it can be bought alot cheaper without the dealer even being involved. Last of all, do not except anything that you can not live with later on after the purchase, you`ll have a very hard time getting anything taken care of after the fact.

 

The Outdoorsman doesn't have the dual exhaust, because the single side exhaust gives it a better departure angle. That was the idea anyway. I'm pretty sure the hitch receiver hangs down farther than the dual exhaust.
