Default pop noise...i need help.

I just starting hearing a pop sound from the right front of my 2012 1500 4x4. i get this sound when the body shifts to the right, it is driving me crazy. i love my new truck but this has to be fixed. i would just take it to the dealer, but the will say it is from the leveling kit i installed. it is not. it started about 600 miles after i leveled it. thanks in advance for any help.

The spring may not be seated correctly. Check the ball joints and tie-rod ends.
Go back over any nut or bolt that you removed while installing your lift kit.
You dont know for sure yet that it ISNT the leveling kit until you check it.

Default pop noise..

last week i removed the kit and put everything back to stock. i even looked up all the specs for the bolts. noise was still there, i reinstalled the kit. so i know its not the kit. since my first posting i have chased the noise to the right front body mount. going to check all the bolts today.

Check that top of the shock is in tight. I had that same issue in an SUV and it was the strut top was loose and moving around. Just a thought.

If it's still there when you pulled the kit, pull 'er again, and take in to the dealer.

Sounds like something isn't seated right though... shocks/springs/some bolt/etc.

I know it's a pain, but if it's there with the kit off, take it in that way.

I think member "Mikeyyy" had problems with cab mounts in the past if i remember correctly.
Do a search for 4th gen cab mounts, you might find his post on it.

Larry, I still haven't gotten to the dealer as of yet...it's going in about 10 days. Finally was able to get some good time off of work. I've been so damn busy it's been unreal. But I'll keep everyone posted when it goes in...
