It is really easy, just take your time to do it right and neat. At $25 for Wix, an $8 Purolator works just as well...... MHO
It will only take an extra 15 minutes to go slow, and do a neat job..... You can see the outline on the face of the heater box, where to cut. It is NOT that raised outline that is plainly visible, but a faint line inside that raised outline.
A very sharp razor knife makes the job go easier, just take your time.
I'm going to label the cover, with the filter part number, so it's easy to find for anyone.

Thats what I used, the NAPA gold is a Wix.

I paid 13.00 + tax for the NAPA 4578, sure the Purolator was cheaper but I didnt want to wait a day, no one around stocked the Purolator.
