Sorry to revive an old thread but are TSBs only performed when the truck is on warranty? I am passed my 3/60 warranty.
Thanks

Steel,
TSB's, when performed by the dealer, are only covered under the factory warranty. Some would possibly be covered under a service contract but your coverage on the contract must provide for the faulty part to be replaced.

Alot depends on your dealer. Some can do what they call a "Good Will" if you`re out of warranty. One dealership i use to work for few yrs ago, we would take care of the customer even if their warranty expired if they were loyal to us. It was just the right thing to do. And no, i`m not talking about a engine or trans replacement for free either... small items were no big deal, it would always guarantee a sale for the dealership in the future because we took care of the customer, they always came back to buy another car or truck from us because they KNEW we would take good care of them. A happy customer is a repeat customer. These kinds of dealers are very hard to find today, they pretty much dont exist anymore. So if i were you, i would ask your dealer or rep about a good will for you. If they blow you off, call chrysler, that may get it covered for you.
