Default how to get a wider tire look...wheel spacer?

Hey guys...
I have a 2010 ram 1500 that I have put a leveling kit on and 285/70/17 bfg all terrain tires on. I have recently put painted fender flares on and I love them. The only issue I have is that now I kinda lost my wider tire look. How can I get that back? Can I use a wheel spacer and if so what size. I had 17x8.5 vision warror wheels put on as well. I dont need them to much wider just a little. I know I can buy wider tires but I like the size I have on there now. Thank you for yalls help.

I suppose you could buy some wheel spacers, but do you trust the amount of weight being put on them?

Forgive my ignorance but I just don't enough about wheel spacers to know what weight your talking about. I dont haul anything if that's what your talking about.

The weight he is talking about is the nearly 3 tons that the truck weighs. Wheel spacers create additional leverage on the wheel studs, knuckles, etc.

Oh ok that makes sense. So y'all think it wouldn't be a good idea to look at a small spacer?

I think it wouldn't be a good idea to buy a pickup if you don't haul anything. The spacer question is up to you - it has no function, but probabally won't break anything if you use your truck like a prius

I didnt realize I wasnt allowed to buy an truck unless I haul something everyday. I only meant that I dont haul stuff all the time. I usually put stuff in the bed and may haul a flatbed maybe twice a year.

spacers are not a good idea, buy wider wheels with a slightly different offset to fill out the new space. Spacers will prematurely wear the front end components.

Buy yourself some spacers, just make sure the're billet hubcentric. you wont have any problems. Its not like you're entering the baja 1000
