Houndog, you may be right about slick 50 and maybe not over 30 yrs is a long time to Kobe in production. There's class action suits on almost everything, how many have been paid? I know Ome that have put it in auo trans etc which anyone Tht thinks at ll wouldn't do that! Quaker State makes engine out with lick 50 added, I'm sure they've researched it. I have an 04 Ranger work truck, hauling 400 lbs water and equipment all the time, 177,000 miles on it, engine sounds the same as it did at 40,000 when I bought it, had slick 50 added several times, hard to convince me it's no good. stands to reason, it's silicone based, makes parts slippery, less friction.

I want to apologize for the terrible spelling. I'm using an iPad and the keyboard is quite small. I'm embarrassed by the last post. I'll try to spell check better and slow down. Again sorry!

That's more or less what they did for mine, only it took two trips because they didn't replace the pinon bearing when they replaced the seal.
