My friend there's a pink plastic override piece under that small storage section of the shift take out the black rubber removable case, then ull see a access point to the shift assembly look for pink lever & push on it as u attempt to shift vehicle as normal this pink lever is the emergency release but only dealer can replace the assembly that's broke in the first place do not allow them to charge more than $300.00 & ask for the modified part, or ull start to notice that piece breaks easily and without warning or cause.
