Default Squeeking Left wheel

So I recently noticed that when driving slow when making a turn, or leaving a stop sign or traffic light, the left wheel squeeks like crazy. It sounds exactly like when you're break pads are shot. But it doesn't happen when I apply the breaks. So I am taking it in on Tuesday to have it checked out.

That and the stupid remote unlock still doesn't unlock properly until I press the damn button about 7 times while I stand beside the driver door! They flashed it last time, I'll see what they will do this time.

For the problem unlocking your door with the remote, the contacts inside the remote get dirty and make a poor contact. It needs to be taken apart and the contact areas need to be cleaned.

It is a simple fix, tell your service department.

After all this time with these keys I am amazed they didn't know to do this on your original complaint.

Turns out the Ram needs new Roters and breaks. I got it in Aug 2010 brand new with 2km/h on it. Travel mostly on the highway with minimal city driving.

Is it a little premature to have the breaks and roters go on it?

I have a 2009 RAM w/ 33,000 miles and the brakes have pretty much squeaked since I bought it....it's progressively getting worse. So I just purchased some new slotted/drilled F/R rotors and some PowerStop Z16 Evolution pads. I will be installing these at the end of the month when I get settled in FL.

I personally think the stock pad/s rotors are JUNK, probably produced out of secondary metals and squeak to high hell. Now when my vehicle was new I don't know if the original owner bedded in the brakes properly, that may be why they feel a little warped and squeak so early. I bought the truck w/ 7800 miles in 2011 and it's a 2009.

Can you recommend any places to get new roters and breaks, along with good makes? Average cost?

Same here, bought my 2010 truck brand new, now has 42,000 miles, never a squeak ever,
and i still have at least 70% to 75% pad material on all four corners... rotors are also fine.

But then again, i`m not hard on my brakes either.
If you`re going thru pads & rotors alot, its likely how you`re driving.

Can't be my drive. My drive to work is 3km each way and it's all highway. We go to a nearby city maybe once a month that's about it. When slowing down on the highway to make a left if noone is behind I just coast for a while then break.

I just bought these and they are sitting in FL waiting for my arrival! I read some reviews on these and they seemed to have pretty good overall reviews and one hell of a price. So once I get them installed I will do a review.
