Default Busted Shocks

Was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with their rear shocks? I was under the truck the other day and noticed that my rear shocks had fluid all over them. Upon further inspection it looks like the seals on the shock were faulty and the fluid was leaking out of them. The truck only has 19k miles on it and I have never heard of this before. Oh well, its still under warranty, so back to the dealership it goes.

I had a front passenger shock replaced, it to was leaking fluid, and that was around 18k too.

Driver,

I have seen this happen before but just not with 2 at the same time. Hopefully the dealer gets the problem corrected and gets you back on the road soon.

Say screw the dealer and go aftermarket... Once mine go I'm throwing bilstein 5100's in the rear, already have them upfront!

Sry to hear yours are leaking.. Mine are fine after 36k and with a 1" spacer and airlift 1000's in the rear set between 5-10psi.

Just got back from the dealership today and have some good and bad news. First of all the shocks are busted, as I already know, and they will be replaced free of charge due to the warranty. However, they had to order the shocks and said that it would be a couple days until they came in.WTF!! A dealership doesnt have shocks in inventory?? It seems to me that they would have atleast one pair on hand just in case. Oh well, I guess I will just have to wait my turn.

Nope, mine took two weeks, on top of them (dealership) forgetting to call me, followed by when I then called them, they somehow didn't even have me in their network acknowledging I stopped in to have the shock inspected! LOL, sort of!
