Default 2011 Outdoorsman.. Wheres my 115v outlet?

Okay, So I just picked up a 2011 Ram QCSB 4x4 4.7L Outdoorsmans package. Part of the "outdoorsman" package is a 115v outlet, just the same as a standard house outlet. Of the trucks that I have researched, it is located in the dash, below the radio slightly towards the passenger side. On my truck, there is just a hole there for storage.... WTF? even my window sticker says i have it. Any help???

moosefire66, I have an 09 sport and the outlet is where you described above, I also have a button that has to be pushed to activate the plug. Do you have that button/switch as well? I haven't see a 2011 or the outdoorsman pkg so am not familiar with the layout. I'm sure the dealer though could tell you where it's at. Jeff.

2010 big horn edition... I have the outlet, right where you are saying it should be. And the above poster is correct in order to turn the outlet on there should be a button in the dash right next to your emergency light button

I've heard some are in the backseat, or in the console. Don't remember exactly....

No Button, Nothing in the back seat, and nothing in the center console. Damn. I had the truck for 2 damn days and I already got to take it back into the dealership. Wtf. There are no open spaces on the top row of buttons, and for the bottom row of buttons, which I believe are for the heated seats and whatnot, is just a RAM emblem, no buttons.

Yeah, I'd hang onto that window sticker and bring it in to the dealer. Far as I know, that's where they put them. It's even in the same place in my mom's 2010 Journey, with the same "on/off" button location.
Only vehicle I've seen different is the caravan, where it's below the console in front, down with the two 12v outlets and there are two additional ones, one under each outside armrests in the rear...

Yeah I am going to take it back in.

WNDERR: I couldn't see your link. It was timed out, however, this is not a standard feature as far as i know, but is apart of the "outdoorsman" package, and specifically states that it comes with a 115v outlet.

Hammer: yeah I planned on keeping the window sticker anyways. It makes me feel better knowing I can look at it any time i need. And since I plan on debadging/destickering the truck, this way I have proof that it has what I say

I am pretty sure the cigarette lighter is no longer called a cig lighter but rather a 115v outlet.

Cig lighter plugs/power plugs are 12v DC output.....115v DC would be something to behold.
