I just purchased a 2012 1500 laramie, hooked it up to my boat, all lights work fine but the electric brakes won't work...worked fine with old truck...I have a picture of a trailer with a slash through it in the cluster and a amber ! on the controller...wiring on both trucks seem the same...I only get .250-.350 volts at the plug. This is a factory installed controller...any ideas?? Dealer not open till monday, would like to resolve sooner if possible...

Problem resolved, hooked up neighbour's truck (same truck, also has a trailer with electric brakes that work) same result...found bad ground on trailer...hard to explain this one but everything works now...
