Default Dash console not plugged in

On the way to the track in denton, new truck towing the camaro. Went to engage tow/haul, nothing. Stability control, nothing. Hazards work. AC plug/laptop doesnt enable, parking sensors dont disable.

I'm thinking it never got plugged in? We're using manual override to hold it in 4th.

Since the truck is a 2011 I'll assume its new to your dad but purchased used? Either way it's odd no one has noticed those features not working until now so it's likely it was 'plugged in' when it left the factory.

It was unsold inventory. Has 445 miles or so on it. Dad just took it to the dealer unwillingly...see jow many things they can scratch and tear up while in there.

You can pull that front dash piece off - I've had mine off a couple of times to get to the radio. In doing so I had to unplug all of those thing and plug them back in, so it'd be real easy to find out if they are plugged in or not. If I recall correctly, all of the plugs were a specific shape/size, so you wouldn't be able to plug them in the wrong spots. It takes some force to pull that piece out, just go slow, take your time and start with a corner and work your way around. You may have to undo your console too if it's in the way - again - pretty easy to do, just take your time. There are some handy videos on YouTube you can search to get a better idea as well. Hope this helps - good luck!

My apologies - I wasn't completely clear in my previous post - there are a few screws that need to be removed as well. Check out this video - the guy does a great job of it and seeing it explains it better than I can type it!!
