You may just be used to the power you have. I drive a 2005 5.7 Hemi Ram which is awesome. I get into my 2002 4.7 Durango... WIMPY.
I drove a v6 chevy. Lol. Thats not it. And im not sure how familiar u are with all this but um my wimpy gutless 4.7l makes as much hp as your 7 yr old 5.7. And fuel cleaner over the counter is garbage. I ran a concentrated proffesional grade injector cleanor thru it. Did nada.

Since it started with a fill up, you need to change the fuel filter or add some additive to the tank to clean it out.
Im not asking to match times. Just an approximation. If someone ia running 8 secs and thats avg then its good to know. And there is no fuel filter on these trucks.

Filter is replaceable. Its in the fuel pump module. Its a pain in the butt. Not usually done. Need to hook a fuel psi gauge to it an tape it to the windshield so you can read then drive the vehicle.

after taking the truck in to the dyno yesterday, some useful things came out of it.

#1 the truck is putting down 162 hp @ 5400 rpm and 165 tq at 4500 rpm.

the equivalent of a honda civic.

the other thing is the right rear caliper is locking up, 25k mi thats crazy.

i took a IR tme gun to the rear rotors during the dyno due to a suspicion and the right rear rotor measued almost 450 degrees while the other 3 were at or around 110.

so look like ill be taking it back to the dealer today as well as giving chrysler a call asking them why during 4 trips to the dealer this was never found.

Seems like you should be getting around 225HP - but if your brake is dragging then the readings are all screwed up

I've heard of numerous calipers seizing. Thank goodness its under warranty. Saw one at the dealer the other day with one front and one rear seized.

Seems even a mechanic with 15 years experience missed that one.
