Have the alternator checked as well an the battery, new vehicles are power greedy and require it to run proper, a weak battery and weak alternator can cause issues! PVC check, too!

Prolly true dude, i havent been into a 4th gen TB yet, never any reason to.
Just thru that out there because i`ve seen idle issues many times due to sticking valves. (usually caused by carbon)

I pulled the throttle body off tonight and gave it a quick cleaning with some TB cleaner and a tooth brush. The TB was pretty clean for 50K. The plate had no build up of any kind and the bore only had slight carbon trace that I could wipe off with my finger.

I have an appointment at the dealer tomorrow to have the PCM flashed, I'll ask them to check for any misfires with the star scan tool. Maybe I have a misfire that is not setting a MIL light. Dunno, check back tomorrow!

OK, so I go to the dealer today and they check out the truck. I tell them of the chitty idle issue and they said they will take a look on the scan tool. I talked to the technician while he was flashing the PCM for other issues I had. When he was done he told me to watch the laptop screen so we could monitor any misfires. On initial startup the scanner picked up a single occurrence misfire on two cylinders. He turned the truck off and restarted and two other cylinder showed a single misfire. While idling there were no misfires present and under load (power braking) there were no misfires. I've come to my own conclusion that the initial misfires were minor enough that I won't pursue this issue much longer. I bought a can of BG 44K to add to the fuel tank. I'm taking a long trip to New Hampshire tomorrow to attend the Nascar race, So a 360 mile round trip with some fuel system cleaner might help what ever is ailing the truck. If this clears up at all, I'll let you all know!!

Possible causes for a misfire/rough idle:
I noticed you have 50,000 miles on the truck, have the spark plugs ever been replaced...?
Possible bad connection at one of the coil packs...? A coil pack startin to give out...?
What octane and brand of gas are you using, gas quality really sucks today.
Dunno, just throwin some ideas out there for you to think about.

Pulse duration spark plugs such as E3s are causing issues with idle, rough run and CHARGE system issues. GM has tech bulletins out about such. Low voltage bleed over. Other plugs do not do this. PULSE DURATION spark plugs only do this.

The spark plugs were replaced at around 45K, I am getting ready to go back thru and check all the coils and connectors again.

I did read about the E3's prior to changing the plugs, I went with the OEM from the Dodge dealer. I couldn't find the Hemi plugs aftermarket anywhere.
