My dealer has a reputation in the community for excellent sales/service, if you can believe that 75. I am not bashing Ford but the F150 very expensive. For the price of a stripped down reg cab F150 4WD for $30,000, Chevy/GMC pickups reg cab too for $30,000, you can buy a beautifull 390 hp Ram Express 1500 w/ a ton of options for $30,000 just like yours (sticker prices I am comparing). I think my truck is involved in the rear pinion nut recall. I cannot remember getting a recall prior for the several Ram's I have owned. You will LOVE the Express, my dealer cannot keep them on the lot. My friend in the sales dept. this spring sold a reg cab Tequila Sunrise Express to a passer by that saw the truck still on the car carrier parked in front of the sales lot. True story.

I can't disagree with you on cost that's for sure.

How was your F-150's Ecoboost power compared to the Ram's Hemi? I too had Ford's in the past and went through the same ordeal with my mustang, I was just stuck with the problems, Ford seemed to wait till the warranty was over, then tell me, oh, by the way that will cost you so much, it's out of warranty, sucks to be you......I loved the car but hate the way I was treated by Ford.

I feel the ecoboost had more power. a much broader power curve. however the ford had 3.73 gears and 18" wheels and my dodge has 3.55 gears and 20's. my dodge is no turd but I think if I was to line them up the ford would've edged out my dodge. if I had the 3.92 gears maybe a different story? both are nice trucks but I too was very disappointed in my treatment from ford.

Direct injection and twin turbos = very expensive repairs @ 60001 miles. Ford still has the shortest warranty in the business.
I own 2 Fords and 3 dodges so I am not biased, but the F150 is just too big for a 1/2 ton truck. I like being able to reach in my bed without a step or ladder.
Now if Dodge would put the Challenger on a diet so that it would be can keep up with a 5.0 Mustang we would be in business.
