Upgrading my radio
Actually a double din is larger than the cavity for the radio and would require cutting of the radio well and the bezel that fits around the radio. While I've seen people do a great job of installing it, I've also seen the opposite where it didn't look like a professional install or a factory install. A single din would require fillers to fill in around it. an easier fit, if you like the look of the smaller radio in the larger hole.
Plus with the RHR, you get the added benefit of getting your GPS directions showing up in your EVIC.
Just my $.02 for what it's worth.
