temp gauge

Default temp gauge

do you guys notice your trucks temp gauge needle is never on the center. my shows that im around 193F and the needle is on the cooler side.

yep thats where mine sits all the time once its warmed they got a 190 tstat

but why does it not sit in the center were the needle should sit. The center line maker. Its normal to see the needle sit on the center line marker.

Normal for what? Its normal for the needle to sit in the middle of the OK zone, not in the middle of the entire sweep

If your thermostat is a 190, and functioning properly, your going to see readings generally around the 190 indication on the temp gauge. The centerline gauge marker has nothing to do with where your "normal" t-stat reading should be.

Another Mopar vehicle I own "had" a stock 210 t-stat, which would of read right of center on the temp gauge, which was it's normal operating temp.
