It almost sounds like someone typing on a telegraph, a clicking sound, definitely hard to explain, but I bet it's the same. STRANGE!
Devile,
Does it only do it while you`re in overdrive (4th & 5th gear TC lockup) ???
Push in your "Tow/Haul" button on the dash and see if you still hear the noise.
Is the noise still there on decel...???? Or when you step into the gas pedal moderately...???

If you keep it in 3rd gear, or push in the tow haul button and it goes away,it is likely the torque convertor making the noise.
(TC Spline shaft & hub has too much clearence, causing a rattleing sound, TC is also not fully locking up causing it to shudder)
Ther is a starcase bulliten about this issue. I`ll try to post a link in here for you and some of the others in here.

Please also concider when these (HEMI) trucks are in MDS mode, they can bring out some pretty weird noise`s and rattles too.
When the hemi goes into MDS mode, you feel and sometimes hear alotta different things going on, not much you can do about that thou.

Has anyone else had this problem or have any sugestions where to look.

Yeah, it doesn't seem to be on accel or decel... doesn't matter what gear, doesn't matter in 4x4 or 2wd. Noise is definitely coming from up top near the headliner and windshield. I removed the mirror yesterday, noise still existed. I'm thinking it's something to do with the mount of the map lights and whatnot in the headliner... I think i'm just gonna still with the radio turned up, as I have almost 90,000kms on the truck, and it's done this every winter for 4 years. Can't imagine it's a real problem, just an annoying vibration...

devile,
Take some painters tape, completely tape off all around the windshield down to the hood cowling.
Then road test it, see if its wind buffeting across the roof where it comes down to the windshield.
I would also have someone drive the truck, then you check things out while riding in the passenger seat.

I ran across a simular noise (4th gen - up in mirror area) and found the wiring harness above the headliner was loose.
We repositioned it, it then took care of the rattling sound is was causing. (the harness was just laying loose)
Dont know if this might be the same thing as yours or not, but worth lookin into it.
