Default back up/parking senor issue

Hey guys this is my first post here, hopefully someone can lend me some knowledge.

I have a 2010 ram 2500 SLT, the parking sensors are currently not working. The dash says, "clean parking sensors" but they are clean.
My issue started after a trip to some cold weather, so i figured possible some moisture got into one and it was iced up. I took them all out and brought them into the house over night to warm up. Reinstalled them and still the same issue. One thing I should mention is that I took the truck through the car wash to get the road salt off and about 30 minutes after the sensors started working again for about an hour then failed again.

Mine always wack out after snow or rain and humidity, or an automatic Car wash, for a while, but they always start working again, once the issue lasted for 4 days, and they just started working again, give it a few days.....

I hear ya ......but it not a constant issue, in almost 4 years , maybe 4 times, the worst one was the blizzard in Ny when there was 3 feet of snow, thats when it went out for four days.....alot of ice buildup.......Good luck.....

After an automatic car wash (which for me only happens in the winter) mine always act up. They usually dry out in 1-2 days and are back to normal. Obviously some wiring connector is getting wet.

If I had a truck with them I'd remove them and put LED lights in the bumper.

I had the same intermittent problem... I took it to the dealer the first time and they started working when I brought it in.

Eventually when they stopped working for a few days I took the truck back in and they were replaced. Told it was a common issue. Likely the wiring is getting messed up where it is inside the bumper.

If its under warranty get them replaced. Otherwise, like others have said, you may have to just suck it up and wait for them to always "dry" out.

Zach,

Do you have an update for your sensor inquiry? If the problem is still outstanding you might want to review with a Dodge dealer.

If you need assistance or have any questions regarding repairs or warranty, feel free to send me a PM.

Ok guys, the problem still hasnt gone away, I replaced the sensors and the issue is still there. Does anyone know where the parking assist computer is located? I am definitely frustrated with this truck.
