Sweet - a few more places to get a coolant leak. Seems like one of those solutions in search of a problem.

hOUND DOG ...OLD JEEP...remember when the clear GM HEI cap came out back when ...looked like a fire at night....

I think the only time it would come in handy would be when diagnosing a cooling problem on a car where the thermostat is hard to get to, like behind a timing cover. But, you wouldn't be able to see it then either. Pretty much, if you can see it well enough to watch it open/close, then you can just easily swap out a suspect thermostat.

Not something i would want to have to worry about whether it would hold up in the longrun.

I can see it on a custom or a nicy modded car/truck. Its very well made. I think it looks trick. All kinds of clear colored hoeses out these days.
