I just bought a 2010 used Ram. The seller had lock pick installed which works great. If i have the dealer install the OEM backup camera (which i already have, just need it installed) will they screw up the lock pick? I don't really know anything about how the lock pick is installed and I doubt the dealer has any idea what it is. I'm afraid they'll mess things up.

I doubt it. It's just a wiring harness that has a few pins moved around.
A back-up cam has an RCA plug, an ignition wire and a reverse wire. The tech will likely Tap into the reverse wire and Ignition wire and plug in the RCA. Just let them know you have an aftermarket harness back there just in case they go by their own wiring color code and your harness is slightly different. This saves your butt in case they do screw something up. No reason they cannot figure it out and use a multimeter if really needed(doubtful)
I think all the wires are labeled anyways.
Why not have an Audio shop hook it up? It'll prob be cheaper and they'll know whats going on.

 

Thanks! All of the car audio places around here have closed. They never seem to last. There is one place I'm thinking of that I'll ask if they can do it. The dealer pulled out their book and it said 1.5 hours labor, so that's what they'd charge me.
