The OEM ones on my 2010 are perfect as well. Even my tailgate protector is still perfect after 66,000 miles.
Just like the trucks they are installed on, you either have a good one, or a bad one.

Ya there all still good on my 2010 as we'll with temp changes from -45 to 35 C every year. I would have thought it would have had to do with them being restricted while expanding and contracting.

For my 2009, that has been the only issue, and they never come loose, they just seem to distort on a hot day, but the Mojave Desert sunshine would play a factor. Regardless the DeeZee black diamond plate ones look awesome; perfect match for the Ranchhand bumpers as well, btw which i am very pleased with, as the oem bumpers may as well have been made of tin.
