I have a 2012 Ram 2500 Laramie. I have noticed that the Radio comes on automatically when the vehicle is started with the remote starter. (radio playing when you get in the vehicle before key is placed in ignition).

Is there a way to program the radio/remote start so that the radio/cd player does not come on automatically when the veichle is started using the remote starter?

Just shut the radio off before you exit the vehicle. On these cold days I have to remember to leave the heat/defrost on so when I use the remote start they kick in.

 

Starting with the radio off, when left on, is not a programmable feature at this time.

 

LOL...Waking up the neighbors with AC/DC booming full tilt at 5am....Yeah I don't know anyone that has done that before.....
