And they wonder why so many people hate dealerships. I had an oil change at 7500 miles. They came to me and said the air filter was "all clogged up" and needed replacement. I laughed and told them no way was I going to replace it. Looking at it later, it was barely dirty. I blew it off with the air hose.

Dealerships suck. Plain and simple. Sadly the warranty is something I want to protect myself against their antics.

 

I use to LOVE long warranty's like that. No hassle with the customer. Put him in a rental,get them gone and It was FIX IT and get started NOW. Made lots of money on extended service contracts. LOTS!

 

My Lifetime from the factory had to be renewed at the 5yr mark. I could go in 30days before and 30days after my 5yr mark. Outside those dates it would have been voided.

Stock airbox is a must FYI. Chrysler denies you if you modify or change it!

Not sure that any aftermarket warranty provided by dealerships require any kind of annual check up or not?

 

Wow stock airbox required, I suppose it makes sense to be 100% stock. I'll have to put a reminder to swap back to the stock airbox when I get to the five year mark. Thanks for the heads up.
