Default Lifetime mopar warranty - anybody here have it?

Got enough of a tax refund to buy a lifetime warranty. My dealer said they would charge employee pricing which was about $1900.

Seeing I love the truck, and intend on keeping it a good long time. Anybody here have one? Is it as good as it seems?

Ive Got lifetime maxcare on a 2009, it was pretty cheap due to the lifetime powetrain warranty that was already on the truck from chrysler; So far only needed it once for a couple of faulty[one faulty, one broken valve stem] tpms sensors.Im also lucky enough to have a straight-up dealer.

I've got it on my 09 Ram. Had to use it a couple times and have not had an issues with a dealership when using it. Really paid for itself this past summer when I had several small leaks that would have cost close to $3,000 to fix, as it were I only paid the $100 deductable.

Seemed like they were everywhere. Transfer case, differential, one dealing with a rod near the wheel, transmission. It never had a leak in Florida, move to Colorado and within two months it had several. Strange.

It was funny but sad. The dealership weenie almost came skipping over to me to tell the the bad news with a big grin on his face. Guess he figured he had a sucker on the hook for alot of fixes. His demeanor changed quickly when I told him I had the lifetime warranty. His quote, "well not all vehicles came with that". My reply was "well this one did because that was one of the key selling points for me when I bought it and I also purchased the addional coverage to cover the rest of it for life". He wasn't happy after verifying it was covered.
