Awkwardly Vibrating Driver Side Mirror?
I've been dealing with this for a long time. I know when driving trucks there can be vibration, but the driverside mirror will every so often "pop" or move a whole bunch, which startles me every time. It might happen several times in a drive. If i push on it a little bit when the car is parked, it has a lot more "play" than the passenger side mirror, and the passenger side mirror doesn't seem to do this.
I first thought it was an electrical issue actually "moving" the mirror on me, but now I wonder if its just due to the excess "play".
Does anyone else deal with this issue? Is this something I may be able to take it back to the dealer for, or am I better off just sticking some 2 sided tape behind it or something to keep it from moving?
Thanks!

Glad to know I'm not the only one.
Its just annoying enough to seriously want it fixed, but little enough that I feel silly taking it to the dealer. I've got some other recalls to take the car in for so while I'm there I'll ask about it. If they won't do anything with it I'll look for my own fix.
Theres no way it could be speaker interference with the mirror windings is there? now I'm brainstorming.

If there is an issue you are having it is worth inquiring about it with your dealer. They ware qualified to assess vehicle conditions which are causing concern. Keep us posted with their diagnosis and if you have any additional questions feel free to PM me.
Wow, great! thanks for letting me know!
I'm happy to hear your concerns were addressed and the dealer was able to resolve your problem with the mirrors!
Thank you for your feedback.

So earlier this year i broke the glass on my drivers mirror. I have the flip up style towing mirrors with the chrome package and light underneath. I went to my local mopar store and purchased a replacement glass mirror piece, but was really tired from work and forgot to ask them how exactly to replace the glass. Rest of the plastic on the mirror is fine and not broken, just the glass. Im thinking that one just kind of pops the mirror out but i dont want to screw anything else up on it so any help would be greatly appreciated.
