I have been dealing with coastaltech trying to trouble shoot the lockpick to see what the problem is and if its the lockpick causing it but its been difficult due to my schedule and 3hr time diffrence.
I got them on the phone 2xs during lunch breaks, troubleshooting with no result, the 3rd time we had an appointment wich was a scheduled call for "additional" trouble shooting got out work early and when i call the guy wasnt available and never called back.
They had me reset my ipod, was told i can no longer use the ipod classic. Disconnect all power from lockpick and reconnect it and nothing!!! All connections seem solid, no loose wires, broken still or twisted pins like ive read in other post. they refuse to send any replacements untill they can trouble shoot over the phone some more!

I would take the Lockpick out completely and see if everything else is working the way it should be.

Problem is, these systems are all electronic and digitized. Hooking up other things can subtly change the voltages or otherwise be disruptive enough to cause these flaky things to happen. Even if it is just to speaker wires or tapping off a +12V source line to run something else. My suggestion is to disconnect everything else you've added and see if your issues go away (possibly requiring a full 'pull the battery cable' reset along the way).

Im so pissed its not even funny! Coastal etach answers but the problem is there they refuse to send me any replacements untill we "further" trouble shoot the problem and 3 hr time diffrence, there not avail on weekends, evenings and weekend sis the only free time i have!!
