This is the location for the 2009 manual

http://mcfail.net/dt/Service%20manual.zip

only works on a pc with IE8, with IE9 you have to go into IE settings, Internet options, security tab, and UNCHECK "enable protected". Will not work with ie10

You can make it work with ie10, but it is kind of a kludge. You copy it to the directory that your local webserver uses and then access it via a URL so that you can use compatability mode, which is what is required to make it work.

Default K17

I took my 2009 Laramie 1500 in to the dealer for the same issue (clunking in dash, AC would only blow on floor and windshield), I told them what I thought the problem was and believed it should be covered by the Customer Satisfaction Letter K17. They advised it would be $95 to diagnose the problem, plus parts and labor to fix. They said they would check on the K17.

Dealer called and said it was the actuator motor and said it was not covered. Paid the bill and everything worked fine.

Contacted Ram Customer Assistance Center, they requested a copy of my invoice from the dealer and within one week I was issued a check for the full amount charged by the dealer.

I will not be returning to that dealer.

Good Job, glad you got your refund. The dealer should have know about the K17 and never charged you for the repair. I had to have my done twice, never charged by my dealer.

You can get them right off the Ram website.

http://www.ramtrucks.com/en/owners/manuals/

I hope this helps.
