If i am not mistaken, AAM the 14 bolt cover is for the 2500 trucks.
As far as i know, the 4th gen 1500 trucks are all 12 bolt.

Not sure this will help, but thought i`d post it anyway.

AAM axles have never been used in 1500s. The 1500 9.25 has always the Chrysler corporate axle. They are not ZF axles. ZF took over operation of the plant when it moved from Detroit to Marysville, MI. AAM makes 10.5 and 11.5 axles that are used in the 2500 and 3500 trucks.

Chrysler "corp axle" vs ZF axles are no different than whats being sold in these trucks today, BY ZF. The name changed, the axle quality didnt, they STILL suck. I disagree with you on AAM axles being used in 1500 trucks. Chevy also use`s the AAM axles in their 1500 trucks. Lets not forget that FORD use to use ZF, but they got smart and walked away from ZF.
