I would do 35's, but that is me. 33's are the same as the stock 20" height and to me looks small on a lifted truck.

33's are only small on a lifted truck until you need to have some axle flex...

Exactly. Not only do 33's weigh less and have no rubbing issues, they are also cheaper and ensure that I don't have to re-gear.

True, but his original post said no serious off roading. Figured he was after the look, not the functionality.

while on the subject of tire size, do 35's rub with the sway bars still connected? What can be expected with sway bars disconnected and running either 33 or 35 inch tires on stock wheels?

I've seen where no serious off roading (ie, out hunting) turns into a nice off road excursion.
